Source: BMW E46 M3 brake spec; APEX E46 M3 fitment guide (18-inch square setups are the standard).

Competition Package (ZCP) cars came on 19-inch 163M cross-spokes: 19x8 ET47 front, 19x9.5 ET27 rear, 225/40R19 & 255/35R19. Base cars: 18x8 ET47 / 18x9 ET26 on 225/45R18 & 255/40R18.

Brakes are the same size on ZCP and base (325mm front), so wheel choice is identical — only the factory tire size differs.

The enthusiast standard is 18x9.5 ET35 square on 265/35-18 (min -1.5 deg front camber). Tire Rack stocks 19-inch only for this car today.

Lug bolts are M12x1.5 — different from the F87's M14x1.25.

The E46 M3's 325 mm front brakes clear 17-inch wheels with most barrel shapes and every 18. ZCP does not change brake size — it changes rotors to cross-drilled and adds the 19-inch 163M wheel, quicker steering rack, M-track mode. Front 325x28 mm, single-piston floating caliper (ZCP: cross-drilled rotors, same size), rear 328x20 mm.
